I tend to take an overall laid-back approach to the world now that I am retired. However, being neurotypical, sometimes I feel a little out of place with the rest of the [neurodivergent] family. Nonetheless, I care about them and would do anything they needed from me because here I no longer have to worry so they shouldn't either. I make an effort to be understanding, listen, and pay attention to cues. Plus, I've developed a lot of patience for when issues arise. You can always rely on me for support!

I'm 5 foot 10 with a comfortable build—not too skinny, not too heavy, just generally well-fed looking. My hair's short and brown, my eyes blue with a hint of green, and my skin is fair. Pretty average overall, I guess.

My Canon Backstory:
After being orphaned at age twelve (which I only learned the truth about later in life), I was raised by my aunt and had a pretty average childhood. I joined the Portland PD (I know, red flag on my part) and worked my way up to detective. Then I found out the truth of my family—that I was a Grimm from a line of Grimms—and my life changed forever. My focus changed to finding and stopping Wesen from killing people, and with the help of Monroe and my other friends, I got pretty damn good at it. Mel and Lav took me a few seasons away from the last episode, so my exomemories from those later episodes aren't ones that happened directly to this version of me.
My Bond Backstory:
Monroe brought Mel to meet me after he had already munbonded with her. I could feel the pull of the potential bond immediately, and it set my Grimm instincts on edge. Fortunately, I heard them out and decided the whole munbonding thing was worth investigating—and I was absolutely right.
